$300 (inc GST) for 3 x 3 hour workshops for beginning potters. The first 2 sessions are for throwing and trimming, followed by glazing. Sessions are limited to 8 people only to ensure exclusive access to a wheel, and plenty of 1 to 1 support from John.

About The Event
In these classes you will learn the fundamentals of wheel throwing, trimming and glazing. Sessions will run every Tuesday night from 5:30 - 8:30 for 3 weeks. No previous experience is necessary. All materials are supplied including good quality clay, firing and a wide selection of food-safe glazes. Our instructor (John) is an experienced teacher and potter who has been delivering this course since 2019. The focus will be on making a series of small bowls/vessels suitable for dips and impressing your friends, but you will be encouraged to follow your own creative style with your work. Most students end up with around 8 - 10 finished glazed pieces.
