Sunday 14th May 2023 - Mothers Day Special clay candle making 9am - 11am

Enjoy a drink, music and relaxed atmosphere while you learn the basics of hand-building pottery. You will create three stoneware candles.  With clear instructions you will shape, carve and decorate your candles in your own way. You will finish your work with a rustic white glaze which fires to a beautiful natural speckled finish.  Finished candles will be collected 3-4 weeks after the event. With your candles you will recieve a packet of wax, wicks and the instructions to finish of the candles at home with no special equipment required.  Your ticket includes all materials including clay, glaze firing, wax and wicks. Perfect for beginners or experienced potters alike, this workshop makes a perfect gift, or come along yourself and give your hand-made candles as gifts after the workshop. Or just keep them all to yourself.
