Friday 3rd July Hand building Clay candles 6pm to 8pm

In this workshop you will create your own original set of candles (usually 4-5 depending on the size). We will guide you through the initial technique and then you will be able to relax and enjoy making candles and carving/decorating them in any way you desire. At the end of the session we will look after your work as it is bisque fired and glazed. Your candles will be ready to collect in 4 weeks. You will also receive the wax, wicks and instructions you need to complete them as candles. Because we use a beautiful food-safe glaze, you can always choose to use your work as functional dinner-ware, or ornamental bowls. This session is fantastic if you want to get really creative without too many complex instructions.
